Clint Strauch is President and co-Founder of Windward Risk Managers. Windward Risk Managers currently manages three home insurance carriers in the State of Florida, Florida Peninsula Insurance Company, Edison Insurance Company and the recently launched, Ovation Home Insurance Exchange.
Clint has more than 4 decades of experience in multi-line insurance products and services. With his leadership, the management company now manages approximately $1.5B in premium and provide insurance coverage for over 300,000 homes in Florida through relationships with nearly 2,500 independent insurance agencies throughout the state. Windward’s underwriting discipline has led to significant profitable growth over the past 20 years in the Florida homeowner insurance market placing them among the top 5 largest insures in the State.
After college, and prior to founding Florida Peninsula Insurance Company, Clint owned and managed an Allstate insurance agency in Miami Florida for 17 years. Clint grew up in Hollywood Florida and attended high school at Pine Crest in Ft Lauderdale. He earned a B.S. from Florida State University and currently serves on FSU's Risk Management and Insurance Executive Council.
He and his wife Allison live in Lighthouse Point, Florida. Clint has 2 daughters Alexa and Haley who are recent graduates of FSU and UF respectively. Clint enjoys spending time with his family, boating, diving, windsurfing and snow skiing.
